First Appearances™ Entryway Systems
A visitor arrives at your facility. Their first view is the entryway and just beyond. What kind of impression will they get? Will they see dirt, moisture or debris on your lobby floor and in the elevator bays?
Let’s hope not—because their first impression won’t be a very positive one!
There is an easy way, however, to make sure that 90 percent of the dirt and moisture tracked into your building doesn’t get beyond your entrance. And that way is the First Appearances™ Entryway System.
This is a three-phase system that traps dirt, mud, snow, sand and water right at your entryway. The chief advantage to the system is that this debris doesn’t wind up on your interior floors—so it doesn’t create excessive wear and tear on them. And, just as importantly, it traps moisture at your entryway, thereby greatly reducing the possibility of slippery floors and the likelihood of accidental falls.
By trapping most debris right at the entryway, intensive cleaning can be focused exclusively in this area. This means that regular, routine maintenance will suffice in other areas, allowing for cost control.
 The first phase of the First Appearances System is EZScrub™, a UV-resistant, thermal plastic flooring, usually placed outside an exterior entrance. It’s extremely durable, long lasting and effective at removing dirt and moisture from shoes. Its innovative design technology provides a slip-resistant, anti-fatigue surface, making EZScrub the ideal flooring for many industrial and commercial applications.
 BrushOff™, the second phase, combines strips of thermal plastic with tufted cut-pile carpet. The surface scrapes, brushes, traps and hides debris immediately inside the entryway. Its modular design means that damaged or discolored carpet tiles can easily be replaced, and the whole installation can be rolled back for quick and easy cleaning.
 CleanSweep™, the final phase in the First Appearances System, was developed to trap and hold the maximum amount of tracked-in soil and moisture. With use of a proprietary high-twist, open-yarn construction, this final surface offers optimal brushing capability.
